See a board before you pay for one
Your account opens with four sample people already being monitored — one no longer current, one whose details do not match — so you can see what the service does before you put a single real name into it. Fourteen days, no card, nothing to cancel.
Someone at your organisation may already have a board
It looks like someone at may already have a Daily DBS board, so we have not created a second one yet. Two boards for one organisation means two sets of people, two bills and no single answer to who is monitoring whom — which is the one thing a safeguarding record has to have. We may have got this wrong, and there is a way on below either way.
Ask to be added to it and we will email whoever administers it. We do not tell you who they are, and we will not add you unless they say so.
If you are sure you need your own account — a different legal entity on the same domain, say, or you are an outside adviser — email support@dailydbs.co.uk and we will set it up properly.
We have passed that on
Whoever administers your organisation's board has been emailed. When they add you, you will get a link that signs you straight in.
Nobody got back to you? Email support@dailydbs.co.uk and a person will chase it.
Check your email
We have sent a link to that signs you straight in to your board. It works once and expires shortly, so open it when you have a minute to look around.
Nothing arrived? Check your junk folder, then email support@dailydbs.co.uk and a person will sort it out.
What a trial actually gives you
A board that is already running
Four sample people with a week of history behind them, so you are looking at a service that has been working rather than an empty table. One is no longer current and one has details that do not match — the two things you would want to be told about.
Room for five of your own
Add real people whenever you are ready and they are checked against the DBS Update Service every morning, exactly as they would be on a paid plan. The sample people are fictional and are never sent to the DBS.
A way out that keeps your work
Choose a plan from inside your board and everything stays where it is — the same people, the same history, the same sign-ins — and the sample data is cleared away. If you need longer to decide, you can give yourself another week.
